### What We Collect

AI Keyboard is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal information:

- **API Key**: Your Groq API key is stored locally on your device using iOS Keychain for secure authentication with the AI service.
- **No Keystroke Logging**: We do NOT log, record, or store your keystrokes or any text you type.
- **No Personal Information**: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal identifying information.

### When Information is Sent

Text is only sent to our AI service provider (Groq) when you **explicitly** tap an AI feature button (such as Rephrase, Translate, Grammar, etc.). We never transmit data passively or automatically while you type.

### How We Use Information

- **Text Processing**: Text you choose to process is sent to Groq's API solely for the purpose of providing AI-powered features (rephrasing, translation, grammar correction, etc.).
- **API Authentication**: Your API key is used only to authenticate requests to the Groq service.

## Data Storage

- **Local Storage Only**: Your API key is stored securely on your device using iOS Keychain with App Groups.
- **No Server Storage**: We do not operate servers that store your data.
- **No Cloud Backup**: The app does not back up any of your data to cloud services.

## Third-Party Services

### Groq API

AI Keyboard uses Groq's API to provide AI-powered text features. When you use an AI feature:

- The selected text is sent to Groq's servers for processing
- Groq processes the text and returns the result

## Full Access Permission

AI Keyboard requires "Allow Full Access" permission for the following reasons:

**What Full Access Does NOT Mean:**
- We do NOT track your typing
- We do NOT collect your keystrokes
- We do NOT access your personal information
- We do NOT serve advertisements based on your typing

Full Access is a technical requirement by iOS for keyboard extensions that make network requests. We only use this permission to provide the core AI features.

## Children's Privacy

AI Keyboard does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us.

## Data Security

We take data security seriously:

- API keys are stored using iOS Keychain (industry-standard secure storage)
- App Groups ensure data is only accessible to the main app and keyboard extension
